Web sites supplying online surveys

There are several Web sites that offer a diverse systems and system of online surveys. Incidents where cater to specific group such as the age group, the racial division, and the majority others. But the common denominator of these sites is rewarding system: paying participants for completing online surveys. It should be observed that each site provides unique reward methods.

Then, the participant will receive an e-mail having a link that directs to a page requesting more detailed demographic including sex, marital standing, education level, and race. After which, members will receive intermittent e-mails together with links to studies that correspond to the actual demographic.

Though the period varies, but most studies take an average of 10 to 20 minutes to fill. Some sites provide reward based on how long the survey was accomplished. For example in e-Rewards, it gives $29 for one-hour finishing of survey. In a situation where a participant doesn’t qualify for the survey, a partial award is given for a few instances.

In paying down the participants, sites have varied reward systems. Some send out an actual check, while others let participants accumulate points to be encashed with regard to rewards.

One of the foremost perils of paid online surveys for companies is the trustworthiness of such surveys. With this kind of method, individuals can actually cheat as well as lie to take more surveysthus to be paid more. How was your experience? Yesterday I joined that webpage of surveys, where you get paid for completing those surveys. So today I received a phone call where I got asked by a machine about my range age and I think it comes from this web page. The problem is although I gave real info, I never gave the number of my phone :S Creepy. I know I must be careful about giving personal info, but… what’s the risk? What can I be done?

We all know about paid emails/ surveys and paid to sign up offers, but what do you think about getting paid to bank?

There are people who basically find banks that offer you $25-$250 to open a bank account. There are lots of banks that have these promotions, so these people devote all their time to opening bank accounts and get paid to bank online!

To me, paid bank offers are like the ultimate paid sign up offer, but with more pros:

~You don’t have to “pay” anything to do a bank offer; you are simply parking your money in a specific bank.

~There’s almost no risk that you won’t get the bonus because you can just call the bank & they’ll just credit your account

~99% of the bank offers I’ve seen are with FDIC-insured institutions, so no worries

I have proof of payment (www.freewebs.com/freeonlinebucks) so I can confirm this is legit, but I’m just curious for your thoughts: Could “paid to bank” be a revolutionary online earning idea just waiting to explode in popularity?
Proof of payment viewable at: http://www.freewebs.com/freeonlinebucks
I have to disagree with real’s comments in response to this question.

You say that online banking is risky because of privacy issues, but many of the banks that offer these bonuses are highly reputable banks, such as Bank of America, Citi Bank, etc.

Also, I deal with many, many banks but I can’t think of a single one that doesn’t offer online banking. Even my small local credit unions have that option.

Online banking is simply a fact of modern life. Of course there are common sense security precautions you should take, but those same principles apply with visiting any website; I do not at all believe that there is any risk inherently associated with online banking.
PLEASE READ: I think people are misunderstanding my question. You are NOT being asked to give your money to a stranger.

Actual, banks are paying you to open an account with them. They are doing this because they hope you will like them (or be too lazy to close your account), and they can therefore have your future business. It’s that simple.

I’m about to start my own small business selling sunglasses, makeup, etc. I have a part time job so I don’t make a lot of money to get it started so I thought I would use the money I make from my job to pay bills and then do online surveys to fund my small business (i know doing online surveys don’t pay that much so please no comments and I have about 100 requested sites to go to already so please don’t tell me anymore) Anyways, in order for me to get paid for doing online surveys I need a pay-pal account and I want the money that i earn to be transferred onto my prepaid Visa card. Why questions are,
    1) How can I make it where all my earnings do go on my card?
    2) Does pay-pal cost monthly?
    3) Are there any risks to pay-pal and can I trust them?
    4) Are there any contracts?

My small business will be inside my home and I am going to advertise on myspace and other websites similar:
    Other questions (about small business)
    5) Is it illegal for me to sell items out of my home without a license or a real business?
    6) Do I have to claim taxes on everything I sell?
    7) how can the customers pay me when I only have a in home business that isn’t really that professional?
    8) Will I get into trouble doing this? (buying in bulk and re-selling the items?

I know its alot but thank you for all you’re help!!!! Have a great day!!!

okay i have heard of all those companies who pay for surveys, using specific sites, etc etc all online. but with all the scams how can i tell which one is legit. cause not all of them can be illegal. if that was the case, then sites couldn’t show these at all. how can i figure out which sites are to be trusted. none of the sites i tries are accredited by the BBB either.

this is just to make a lil extra cash. 50 a month is fine with me. that would pay for the internet bill.lol

I recently read an article online naming a few unique ways children can make money. One of the ways was taking online surveys.

Are kids allowed to take them? Is it safe? Are there any risks?

    The artical
    http://www.mmhabits.com/how-can-kids-mak

The place the article said to take surveys
    http://www.surveyadventure.com/

What do you think of the survey site? Should I allow my sister to try it? (she’s 13).

No need to answer all the questions. I don’t want stupid answers. But I really do need to know more about this. If any one knows a young child who does this please let me know. And if you know any websites like this you suggest. This question is pretty much open to opinions, suggestions, and critiques about the subject.
