The Importance of Online Education Programs

In contrast to the days of yesteryear, it is now possible in order to pursue higher education from your comfort and convenience of your own home. These online education plans are there to focus on busy working adults who might not or else have the time to go to classes on a everyday or even a nightly foundation. After all, not all of all of us can choose our function schedules, and this signifies that a persons first loyalty must come to the origin of their income. From then on, there exists the difficulties and time constraints regarding raising a family and adopting the things that make us enjoy life. When just about all is said in completed, where would come time to attend classes and acquire a degree?

Well, for most people, it means attending classes online and obtaining their degree through the world wide web. Now, just hold out a minute, you may be pondering. How is it planning to look when I show an employer a continue that says online college. And there might be some truth to that concern. Thankfully, nevertheless, many legitimate educational institutions and community colleges have begun to offer classes on the web as part of their regular programs. This means you could understandably graduate with complete honors and a degree that looks exactly the same as every person elses, without ever getting stepped into a class.

But lets talk about which stigma for a moment anyway. Its going away. Its going away, and its flying out the door quite rapidly. Online education applications do not have the stigma of the correspondence programs of old. Through the use of technology and interaction, you can procure yourself the best of both worlds through classes over the internet. If youre struggling to keep up, the majority of instructors are available throughout the day to take your questions more than even to meet face-to-face to help.

I was reading and it said that someone was just graduating as a construction project manager. Does that mean they went to college for the whole four years or is it just a few classes you have to take and you get a certificate or something?

Other states offer homeschooling free of charge. They also include computer, printer etc necessary to perform the work. Why does MS not see the importance of homeschooling? Especially considering all the funding cuts in education?

I’m looking for answers from people who have been thru both school types. I was in a “brick & mortar” school back in ’89, and now that school has changed with times. As I am seeing that we are becoming increasingly connected and reliant on the Internet, I am considering Online education as the costs are comparable to a traditional schools. “education is priceless”

Occupational therapy is a profession with a fairly high turnover. what do OT’s do once they leave the profession??

travelling is a short term option – what happens after??
parenthood is another option – but how many can afford not to work at all??

what other careers would an OT be qualified to do?
or have the skills to do??

Guys, the thing is that online education would fit me better since i change my location quite often and i dont have much time to attend the classes due to my work…. But what kind of reputation do those universities have? Why would my career be harmed?

Funny thing is no-one will give me a straight answer.

I had a young teacher tell me this is “the last year she will be teaching summer school cause her student loans are finally paid”

I am entering university next year with the intention of pursuing a BEd / BSc combined degree and becoming a mathematics teacher in secondarty school.

Although I looked up the pay online with my city’s board, but it doesn’t disclose summer school $$. I am just asking for current/future teachers to tell me about summer school pay and your experiances with it.

I live in Alberta Canada, and the pay for an entering teacher is
$49 719 if that is of importance (maybe its a percentage??) Its a high school and summer school is one class for 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, for just under 2 months.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Ron Paul is the only Presidential candidate that lets it be known that he is for complete sovereignty for the USA.
All the other candidates seem to be indifferent that a “New World Order”, is taking over the worlds independantly run countries.

The IMF controls the banking laws in 185 countries that have central banks.
When you have a foreign agency controlling banking regulations in your own country aren’t you losing some sovereignty???????

I wanted to know how accredible a virtual diploma is..Can you still get into colleges and qualify for financial aid? Also, what websites are recommended for getting a diploma? I’d rather not have a GED but if all else fails I will. With my situation I was in my last year of high school and got really behind and was told I wouldnt graduate. So I’d still like to do something to earn my diploma quickly so I can still attend college next semester. I dont want to be scammed online so I’m looking for something legit and nationally known if possibly. I am also 19 so can probably do any sort of adult education program. Any suggestions? Recommened website?

I have lived in America for about 5-6 years and I really miss school now,I need to get back as well.
I haven’t attended no school while I’ve been here,I’ve just been working.
I know College is very serious and costs alot of $$$$$$$$$,I just feel like I’m not ready to jump right into College since it would be my first time studying in the America.
The transportation would be the problem to the campus (not gonna catch the bus every day).

I’ve thought about taking some cosmetology classes, which I probably are gonna end up doing.

    How effective is ONLINE EDUCATION?
    Which is the best ones?
I would think Online Education is pretty flexible (since I can travel while I’m in school and etc.?
What if I should need help with my homework/studies?
Have anyone out there attended any ONLINE EDUCATIONAL programs, did it pay off?
    How much does it cost?

I need education, but don’t have no car for the moment……………….

    Thank you!

I’m trying to figure out the best route to become a personal trainer. I keep hearing that potential employers look for certain certifications, but how much emphasis do they put on hands on education? As long as you are certified by a respected organization such as, NASM, do employers also look to see if you’ve gone through any hands on programs specifically designed for personal trainers? Are there any good ones? I have a BS in human development and I am also a massage therapist so I have a pretty good understanding of the human body but I feel I will need more guidance other than studying independently. I’m told the online programs are a waste. Advice?

I am wondering waht are some good colleges in the world. I got straight A’s 4.7 GPA, but the thing is that I got only a 23 on my ACT. I am wondering what are some good college options for me and if you are in any of the fields that I am interested in if you can say your experience and how the job you have now is good or bad after coming out of these fields thank you.
My High School GPA is 4.7 and my College GPA after one year is still a 4.0

I am considering persuing an online degree in Accounting. I was wondering if the degree is readily accepted by companies during the hiring process in comparison to going to a brick and mortar school.

Response from anyone who has gone through an online degree program, obtained a degree and found quality work. Did you feel like the fact that the degree was received online had any drawbacks?

    Any helpful/informative comments are appreciated.

I am applying for my masters degree online but not through an exclusively online university (like walden for example)…it is a university that offers programs both on campus and through distance learning
I do not want my employers to find out that i earned my degree online which is precisely why I chose a university that is not an exclusively online one
That university is in another country and so I can not mention any work I did in the country I am currently in because they will eithr think I’m lying about the degree or find out it’s an online one…I was thinking about not working all together during that period or just not mentioning it on my resume- but what if I was asked in an interview “what have you been doing during that period? Why were you not working?” what do I do then?

P.S. I know that online degrees are great and everything and I am not belittling them (I’m doing one obviously)

I hate public school its cool and all but its to long like in a 1 hour class I would probably do 20 minutes of actual work I also dont like waking up that early I always feel depressed when I wake up 6 30 I would like to wake after 8 o clock so thats why im asking about online school.

before we start I am a 7th grader in Michigan.

1- will you do the same work as public school?
    2-are their time regulations
3- if I needed help who would help me
4- what online schools are good
