I m considering enrolling to Washington State University’s online bachelors degree in business administration program. I currently run my own small business plus hold down a part time job so I do not have the time to attend the university in person. Would an online degree from this state university be the same as a if i had attended in person?

I’m considering going back to my original university but only in the capacity of a distance-education student as it’s over an hour and a half away from where I live now.

They have a full online degree program in the area that I want. I think I know the answer to my question but I’m still trying to find some clarity on the difference between the two degrees, if there is even one.

I know if you get an online degree from a totally online school there may be a difference but if you go to a traditional 4 year university and do an online degree program there is it considered a BA-in-whatever and not, say, an online-BA-in-whatever? (hope that makes sense!)

What is the best school to get an online degree from? (Subject is Master’s in Education) Are online degrees looked at with the same respect now as a traditional degree? What if the B.S. is from a traditional university and the masters is from an online source?

State is California, subject is Master’s in Education.

I want to take a serious string of academic courses, and hopefully get a degree, ideally a masters if possible, but online.

Does anyone know if this is possible at all? It could be in anything, I’m willing to work hard, nonstop, etc, but I can’t stand classrooms and teachers, etc, I think I have social anxiety.

Any help with this from people who are knowledge about online classes/schools, or degrees, etc, is appreciated.

Im a sophmore in high school. I have a 3.7 GPA and always score above mastery on the standardized test. I really like staying at home, and I dont think I want to leave home for a better education. I was wondering, is there any online engineering programs? If so, are they actually acceptable, as in will people look at it and say ,”dont hire him he got his degree online”, or will they look at it just as if I attended a campus? Plus do you learn just as well with this? Thanks!

I heard that businesses actually look fondly on people with online degrees because it shows self discipline and motivation. Any advice?

I’m looking for an online degree in web design. I’ll consider a BS although I would prefer a BFA or BA. I’m currently in my second year in the Academy of Art’s graphic design program but have been thinking of switching my major to focus more on web stuff. I love AAU but it’s so expensive and I’m already about $30,000 in debt(and haven’t even finished my AA yet!) so I’m looking for other options. Does anyone know of any good, accredited schools where I can get my whole degree online? My husband is in the navy and we move every couple of years so going to school on campus is not an option. I’ve looked around at purely “online colleges” but haven’t been very impressed. I want to graduate with the ability to work in both web and print, with knowledge of HTML, CSS, Flash, and the adobe creative suite. Am I being too picky? I really love AAU’s graphic design program and was going to just switch to their web design program but I’d rather not graduate $130,000 in debt for a bachelor’s!

Any first hand experience would be very beneficial! I wouldn’t even mind sticking with a degree focussed on graphic design as long as there were coding classes.

So ive just graduated with an advanced diploma in Human Resource management and typically to get in you needed a degree, I however had work experience but now im consiering doing an online program to gain my degree…even an associate degree would be fine. Also in my field a degree is going to be manditory come 2011 to be able to get cerfified. Id like to start working again so im considering doing it online…however when i search stuff it seems scamish to me. Like get a degree for 500! its accreditaed…im not sure how to go about doing it…any suggestions? Am i looking at paying the same price for an online degree as if I was to just go to university?

I am currently enrolled in an online accounting program to obtain my bachelors degree in accounting. I’m curious as to whether or not a person can attend 2 different schools at the same time. While still attending my school, I wanted to know if I could apply to another to obtain an accounting diploma online. I just thought it might further my career to have as much training as possible, but I didn’t know if you could actually do this or not. Any advice would be appreciated.

I’m already pursuing a degree from an urban university in USA, but I was thinking of getting an online degree from an accredited college also at a cheaper rate.
I have little to no idea about such degrees. I’m really confused on a lot of grounds like :

    1. How will we give the exams ?
    2. Any chances of financial aid for International Students in USA ?
    3. After completing the coursework, how will we receive the degree ?
    4. Can we complete it in very short time like 2 years (Bachelor’s) ?
    5. Can we complete online degrees while already studying on F-1 Visa ?

I’m considering online colleges like Baker’s (MI) or Unv.of Phoenix.

A few details, which I felt I should add :

    1. How exactly is Baker College ?
I’m asking this cause it’s the cheapest & has my area of interest i.e. Computer SCIENCE.

    2. Do International students really get scholarships for online degrees ?

    3. I have seen that each course is 6 weeks long, so can I opt for multiple courses at the same time, which together will run for 6 weeks straight ?
