    I’m looking for folders/sleeves with sealed sides (only top is open). So that I can put documents in and they won’t fall out from the sides. I’m planning to put the folders in suspension files (A4) and then in the filing cabinet. Tried using suspension files alone but things tend to fall out from the sides when I take the files out. I tried staples and rymans – no luck. Can someone point me to the right direction, or just tell me the technical name for the folder I’m looking for? Thanks!

    I’d like to come up with some other way to organize and store my old bills other than a filing cabinet. I hate how they always seem to get jumbled in those stupid hanging folders and everything is so crammed. It’s hard to actually find things when I do need to see them. Any ideas?

    My boss has been “bullying” me. He will give me a hard time for things like time management. He won’t pay attention to work levels and then guilt me for not meeting his expectations. I do not procrastinate and I am considered to be one of the hardest workers based on the opinions of other associates and the rest of the management team. When asked to speed things up in a condescending way, I decided to find ways to speed up my work process. I found a solution in the manual and audit checklist that we have and made the changes. I made these changes during his vacation. When he returned, I told him about these changes and he shut me down immediately. Regardless of the fact that it is in the audit and we are audited multiple times a year. The area of my work that I am managing was poorly organized before so took over the position. Without any training, I took the position and fixed the process. We are still tweaking it and learning. Also he is technically supposed to be part of the main process in the morning which he never attends and then we become backed up. We use a lot of cardboard boxes and he is supposed to assist us in clearing them, and compacting them. He never does and by the time the process is complete, we can hardly walk around safely. Then he gets mad that we took longer because we had to spend an extra ten minutes clearing all of the boxes.

    Other coordinators that get backed up, he does not give a hard time. We load totes with product every morning that two other coordinators are in charge of emptying on the store floor. We usually get four a day for each coordinator and they are supposed to empty everything each day. One of those coordinators came in today and had 40 totes backed up. When I mentioned that I needed her to catch up because we use these totes for my process in the morning, he said that people have called in sick and she hasn’t had support. So he is making excuses for her. Most days, my warehouse is empty of product that I am in charge of. Many days I am required to do things outside of my job description such as helping on the floor, health and safety inspections, floor moves etc. anytime these things back my work up, he acts like its not an excuse. When the coordinator with the 40 totes backed up had to do a floor move, her product was backed up. But he didnt give her a hard time. He just bragged about her floor move and then told me that shed make a better manager than I would.

    He has something negative to say to me on a daily basis. Even when I work my hands to the bone.

    I have a vertical, 4 drawer, metal file cabinet. The kind you often see in offices. It did not come with a lock–but I want to add a lock for at least one drawer. Is there a way to do this? I would prefer to avoid hiring a locksmith.

    What is most economical way to fix this issue- If one were to acquire a used filing cabinet with a lock but NO key for it, how could I still be able to lock it? Could I buy a “New” Lock and key at a hardware store? Is this hard to do or do stores commonly sell “universal” sized locks for filing cabinets…Are most of them Universally/ Standard sized?

    I love all animals. Especially cats and horses. Im good at taming wild cats. Im not a very social person though. I suffer from anxiety which makes it very hard for me to hold conversations with people. Im not very good with math so it cant be anything that requires the use of lots of math. I was hoping to open a cat sanctuary but I think that would make me have to take a business course and that is mostly math and social stuff. So now im looking for something else to do. The college courses I would have to take would be helpful too.
    A career that would pay good would be good.

    I have been advised by a recruitment agency that my career experience over the last 20 yrs would make me suitable for a contracts managers job, even though I have no formal qualifications in that sector.

    My Background

    Retail store manager 12 years, Auto electrical communications engineering 15 years, Stainless steel fabrication Manufacturing 5 years.

    I have been in management most of this time and have been in sole charge of projects, procurement, Marketing, contract negotioations. I have been the main Director & CEO in 3 small limited companies for several years too.

    My own opinion is that I have worked for big corporations and small companies and have been involved in every area of business so I will be able to learn and blend into the role easily to be a good contracts manager. I like organising, being involved in decision making, responsibility and meeting new people.

    I have changed my previous job titles on most of my CV to Contracts manager in order to attract interviews from companies.

    Am I expecting too much to be able to secure a job as a contracts manager without big company experience or qualifications?

    Any tips or advice appreciated.
