I want to refinance my mortgage and I want to start a home business before doing so. It would have no employees and I would still keep my current job. My home business will not require any due balances or credit lines to increase my debt. Would mortgage companies see the worry that I would quit my regular job or would they trust that I would maturely handle the mortgage payments? In other words, would I have no problems getting refinanced under these conditions. My credit score is about 650 and I’ve been at my current job for 1 1/2 years but have had steady employment for a long time. I have also paid my mortgage on time for 12 months.
The reason I am asking is because what I will be doing requires a vendor license. Therefore, in my ssn, it would show the business based at my home address.
I am actually looking for a new mortgage loan, not a home equity loan or personal loan and I don’t need to borrow to pay debts.

When you are doing the vehicle portion of your business taxes in Turbo Tax Home & Business it assumes that you bought the vehicle (it tells you “we assume you didn’t receive this from a related family member”) but what do you do if you did receive the vehicle as a gift?
I understand you can’t deduct it, since there was no cost, but in my case, the vehicle was given to me and used for business. Then it was stolen, I received a check for the value and bought another vehicle. Don’t I have to account for allt his somehow?

I want to start a home party business of my own. I will be purchasing wholesale jewelry on line and selling at these parties. I won’t need a loan because the start-up cost really isn’t more than $1500 so I’ll pay for that myself to avoid loans and all that. But what else do I need to do? What do I need to apply for, or register for, in order to avoid any problems with the law in the future?

I want to start selling Miss Me brand jeans from home. It will be very small scale and I am not planning on doing much marketing as I have a large network of girls that would be interested in purchasing them. In addition to selling from home, I want to start a small eBay business. I am very familiar with selling on eBay, but I need help with the legal steps I need to take to become licensed to sell them. Other than a retail license is there anything I need to do?
Also, if anyone has tips on where to get the jeans that would be a big help too!

Its in the range of 2000-5000. I really want to help the kids have something to be happy when they see my handmade items. I just started my childcare business out of my home and wanted some legal advice on how to manage expenses, where to look for liability insurance, how to prepare for when I file my taxes & anything else that I may not know about owning your own business. Someone suggested making my business corporate for tax purposes & to protect my personal property in case of a lawsuit. Should that be something I should consider? If so, what steps do I need to take in order to start the process? Any advice/suggestions would be very appreciated.

I’m looking for some sort of home internet business to start. I can put 15, maybe 20 hours a week into and between $100 to $500 to start. If anybody can steer me in the right direction, please contact me. No surveys, I already do those, no ebay, unless you can be specific on what to sell. Just throw some ideas at me. Like I said, if you don’t want to post it, then send it to me
