    I have seen several sites that provide professional resume writing services. However, I’m not sure what’s reasonable. they prices range from $75 to $180 for a basic resume. I’m just curious as to what the majority of people would spend for such a service.

    I am interested in purchasing a resume writing service from “Resume Professional Writers” but I didn’t see them listed with the BBB. Should a web company be accredited? I looked them up and another website listed them as being one of the 10 best. Anyone have experience with a resume writing company? Was it worth it? Thanks!

    According to some resume writing tip websites, “The ‘Summary’ or ‘Summary of Qualifications’ consists of several concise statements that focus the reader’s attention on the most important qualities, achievements and abilities you have to offer. Those qualities should be the most compelling demonstrations of why they should hire you instead of the other candidates.”
    Isn’t that what a cover letter is for?

    I’m trying to reformat my resume in hopes to find a different job. The one I have right now sort of just looks like a laundry list of everything I’ve done. I’m wondering if it’s worth to invest money into a resume writing service, and if so, which one to choose. There’s so many out there on the internet and they talk about how some companies use the same templates over and over while others custom write. They also differ between using online questionaires and actual phone interviews to obtain information about you. In the end, is it just better to write it myself? I’m not confident I could get it to come out as well as a professional.

    Do all, most, or none of the hospitals and outpatient imaging facilities scan in a persons resume? I need to know so that I know what to do as far as the use of bullets/underling/bold etc. and whether or not my resume will get rejected or screwed up.

    I’m thinking about starting up a resume writing company with very minimal overhead (i.e. just a web site and my own resources) and was wondering if anyone had experience or knew what steps to take to start up the business. I would do everything online. Thanks in advance.
    I think the idea of the company isn’t to necessarily write the resumes, but offer ways to portray the resume more professionally. I don’t think that means making it look like the resume was professionally done, but presenting the resume in such a way that it is clear, concise, and properly outlines important pieces of information often looked at first by recruiters.

    I’m a recent college graduate with a BSC in biology with a good GPA, some clinical experience but not lab experience. All of these employers want laboratory experience. I have applied to about sixty jobs and no luck. I’m thinking it’s my resume combined with lack of lab experience. Do you think if I were to have a professional resume writer write my resume, it would overshadow what I lack and give me a better chance? Or are resume writing services rubbish? Mature nice answers please cuz I’m worried sick.

    I am a veteran from the U.S Navy and when I was in the stages of gettting processed out I took effective resume writing classes. Now I am currently unemployed and would like to put what I learned to good use. I am wanting to start writing resumes for people in my area. Can anyone tell me how I go about doing this?     I’m a recent college grad with a BFA in sculpture. (I know, my field isn’t easy). I’m working on writing my resume and such and I just seem to be struggling. I’ve had a lot of jobs, but most of them were crap so I quit them. Which, doesn’t give me a good track record.

    but here’s my real problem: I have experience in lots of things, I just don’t know how to write it all down to make me look good. I’m excellent in customer service and organization, but other than that, I can’t think of anything to say. Could you give me some examples of what you used on your resumes.
