I am looking for a hosted project collaboration tool to manage my client projects. Some of my requirements are:
    1. It must be intuitive and easy to use.
    2. It must have basic project management features like tasks and milestones with the ability to specify due dates.
    3. I would like to be able to brand it so it looks like my company.
    4. Integration with email would be great too since I know I probably won’t be able to get some of my clients to use the tool.

    Any recommendations?

I use my computer personally and for school. It has dual hard drives recognized as C: & D:, a back up partition recognized as E:, & a DVD drive recognized as F:. It’s been configured by the IT department to connect to a network drive when on campus known as “The Student G: Drive”, as well as a personal storage H: drive.

The problem is that I also have a 500 GB Lacie external hard drive that I occassionally connect as well as a 2 GB SanDisk flash memmory stick. Sometimes I plug these devices in and Windows XP automatically recognises them and assigns the appropriate I: or J: designation.

Sometimes when not on campus & as such, not connected to the “Student G: Drive” (Always present under network drives in the My Computer Tab), XP will recognise my Lacie/ SanDisk drive as the “Student G: Drive”. Other times it will not allow me to connect to these devices at all even though the “Remove Hardware” icon shows up.

Can I set XP to always connect to the Lacie as I: drive? How?

I am currently a full time university student. I am trying to find some kind of software that can help me keep track of my lecture times, homework deadlines, etc. I would especially appreciate free software. If you can’t think of anything free, show me some of options I have for the good stuff.

I’d like to build a 40-50 page personal website that has the capacity to pull in blocks of content dynamically, based on what users to the site are clicking on. There would be predetermined blocks of content in the layout that would dynamically populate with relevant info for the user. I know Dreamweaver can do somethings like this, but I don’t know how powerful it is. Is that the best? Or is Frontpage an option? I’ve heard of Ruby on Rails, but don’t know if that will be worth investing a huge amount of time to learn since I prefer WYSIWYG editors, and my coding experience is limited to HTML/XHTML/CSS. Thanks in advance for suggestions and help.

Project management software market is overloaded with tons of products. Some of them are free, some of them charge money for extra features. We are a small design company (about 30 employees) and we are looking for the most suitable option for our businesses’ size. So far none of the options seem to suit our needs – the tools are either too expensive of too complicated. Any recommendations based on personal experience in the usage of project management software in small companies would be greatly appreciated.
