Motivation is Contagious

Motivation is both contagious and excellent because this will have a positive effect to every person. When you possess that and pass this on to others, you will observe a different side that will make them accomplish just about anything.

What you have to understand about motivation is that it is something we all have. As we grew up, it additional develops which is why each of us has our own goals and desires. A classic example is perfect for you study challenging to get good grades, go to a excellent school, get a decent job and with any luck , become a millionaire.

Making this happen will not be easy and along the way, you will meet a lot of people. It may big surprise you to find out there are even some which share your goals and dreams. Through working together, you somehow check on how you both is doing. If someone is not doing so well, you are able to help that person proceed so they dont quit and also vice versa.

Along the way, you will see some setbacks and in some cases are beyond your manage. When this happens, you just have to take yourself up and then move on.

In order for you to definitely motivate other people, you need to talk with them. You have to get to know them because once you know what makes them tick, the greater you will be able to help them achieve success. Since things have an amusing way of getting back to us, the people you talk to and help will go back the favor and definately will do their be part of helping you achieve your goals as well.

This implies opening up a bit thus people will also get to understand who you are. Does this place you in a vulnerable placement? In some ways yes consider these people revealed a little bit of themselves, you should also do the same.

If you happen to be the leader in the group, praising the people beneath you and not always taking the credit will help. This will allow people higher up observe that you are a good boss and that there are people under you who have potential to take over your situation or even go a greater distance in their career.

To achieve this, you should always expect the best from these individuals. You are doing this by giving all of them a free hand in just what needs to be done. While it is true that not all administrators are like that, you will be surprised to see what individuals can do if someone isn’t necessarily watching over them. Dont neglect to tell them when you need help, you will be about to offer it.

Possibly the best way to distributed motivation is to arranged an example. If you are confident and you are able to present this in what an individual say and the items that you do, people will much more likely follow your direct and do the same.

Just try and keep in mind that there is someone right now there who is always viewing so look your best and the rest will certainly just follow.

There’s no question that motivation similar to the common cold will be contagious. This is something we all have and it commences in each one of us so we have to know exactly what drives us first before we can reveal this to other folks.

I’m a 2nd year university student. So far throughout the year I’ve done well, 75-90. Now all of a sudden I lost the will to study. I went from reading and studying every night to not wanting to do anything. What’s wrong with me? My father is a freeloader, who hasn’t had a job in 12 years. Whenever someone mentions work to him he gets mad and changes the subject. Could I have gotten this loss of motivation from my father?

Everytime I want to start praying and exercising, I feel laziness on my part, and something trying to talk me out of it. Either that, or it says, do it later.

How do I start now, and have motivation?

    Thanks.

What are the basic principles of motivation? I am searching online and I cannot find 2 websites that say the same thing. I have to write a 2 page paper explaining what each of them mean, but I cannot for the life of me figure out which site is telling me the correct information.

the ultimate buster of depression is the combination of hope and distraction..if you can manage to-achieve those two states together you will never be depressed again in your whole life.
-surround yourself with positive friends and family members,,believe me positivity and motivation are contagious..
-regulate your sleeping patterns,,sleep early and wake up early..you will notice that your mood is better in the early morning..
-have sex if you can..sex elevates moods.
-go out and exercise..join a club and play a sport that you used to like..
-hold your head up high when your walking and for every negative thought give three positive thoughts against it.
-try to be a part of something big,,,start going to school again or get a good job if you can..that will give you a sense of purpose and you will feel that you belong somewhere.
-find love..love can change the chemistry of your brains so instead of being depressed you will be euphoric and everything will be pleasurable.
-reconnect with god if your a believer it will give you a sense of purpose.
    -be grateful

if you try all that you can never be depressed..

    good luck.
clearly the first three people that answered are still depressed..theyre being so negative..you didnt follow my rule and give three postive thoughts for every negative one haha
everything in your brain is chemistry,,please dont let depressed patients hide behind that lame fallacy. you thoughts and cognitions maybe the unconscious and the external stimulis all play with brain chemistry..

    Hi guys,

I was pondering and thinking of many possible sources of motivation for us to realize our dreams. Most of it will broil down to for money, for popularity, for peace, for love- as cliche and generic as it sounds, it is somehow a common reason why we do the things we do and etc.

I thought of mine, and it would for the ones or the things that I love. I think that, by doing the things that I do now….I would be loved more. Well, for now, I just think that it would. I might be wrong and then my motivation will change. Sometimes it can get pretty shallow, and there is some fair amount of selfishness there, I must admit.

Would there be any other sources of motivation beside that?

Do you depend on somebody else (an outsider) or their existence rather than yourself to motivate you?

What happens if the person died or have burnt bridges w you. What other sources of motivation would you dig to keep your passion burning?

Please share yours, would love to hear it.
Naguru- I can see how dynamism brings many sources of motivation and being dynamic can help us to stay motivated (or not if too dynamic). So yea, I can understand, to some certain extent.
Vj- Thanks for mentioning the idea of our ‘intention’ and laying it all on the Almighty for a peace of mind. I almost forgot all about it. But you know, sometimes, I just can’t help to ponder and wander. Our intention DOES go in tandem w our motivation whether one realizes it or not. Intention seems to me more like a grounded, genuine and long lasting type of Desire or Lust; as desire/ lust fades as quick as it appears.
Alex- Yes, I can relate as you can see I do base my motivation on my feelings- the feeling love. When we’re old and look back, we want to have a story to tell to share w others about. About the the ‘things’ we’ve done or left or made. All in all, it’s experiencing life. I guess this is also called as ‘sense of fulfillment’. And for you, it’d be satisfying your feelings as musician. I am inspired. Thank you for sharing your dreams. Don’t let school be seen as oppressing you or your dreams. In 5-10 yrs time, you will find out a way to look back and count the blessings you have had that during the hard times and use it to your advantage. Good luck.
Small- “A desire can create new possibilities and possibilities can create a new desire”.

Wow. You said it, in a nutshell. Suddenly, everything seems so clear to me. Oh boy, maybe Im not ready to cope with this. Lol.

And that small thin layer bubble of motivation can be/ are easily impacted by outsiders or external figures. That’s just the way it is, isn’t? We spend our whole lives, fighting to keep our small bubble protected in order for it not to burst. Yet, when it does, inevitably, we are left as directionless but soon we build thicker shells or even brick walls or fake/ superficial cover ups or masks coz in this world today, we just need to appear like motivated, even when we’re not.

Another thought, I guess that’s why we have dreams. Our dreams contain more of desired possibilities, rather than possible desires. Oops, I think reality just slipped through the window.

Guru- “How would you know if someone loved you less or more than what they already do?”

Great question. This question would properly serve me a lifetime to answer it. My answer as of right now would be that Im just finding it out by doing the things I thought I would get more love out of them. If I see it unrequited (not literally, as love can be extremely oxymoronic), that’s the only way I would know eventually. Somehow, I have faith, I will know someday or the answer will present itself to me. =)

“These are punishments of our own minds.”

I do agree however our thoughts do influence the way we feel about someone and vice versa. I know this well, yet I still do not know the best method to handle it either way.

My main question is does marijuana kill motivation? Also I feel stupid as if I can barley comprehend and grasp things in life.
If I quit will my motivation restore?

If there’s something I really don’t want to give up on, how do I get the motivation back when I think “I can’t do this”, “it’s taking too long for me to learn this, I’ll never reach my goals”

I try to think of the reasons why I really want to reach my goals. But sometimes that does not help. And should I push myself, or not?

Ok guys, i keep losing motivation and i have no idea why! Its not like im trying to lose weight or trying to change anything physically. Its just, whenever i wake up for college/highschool, i lose complete motivation! I have no idea why! Im not sure if its the fact i have to comute, or i just cba to go! I keep telling myself to get the fuck out of bed and go, but when it comes down to it, i just stay there and go back to sleep. My parents leave for work around 7:45am so their not around to kick me out of bed for when i need to go. After i dont go to college, i feel guilty for missing out on lessons which i SHOULD be going too. It fustrates me!

If anyone can help motivate me or know any tactics of getting around this, please say so!
I want to achieve in life and i know that there is only one way to do so, and thats to get an education!
so please dont lecture me about that!
