My friend worked for a company that sold life and health insurance. He was given commission advances. When he left the company they asked for the commissions back and he could not afford to pay them. That was over two years ago. They harassed him for a little while but have since stopped. Will this affect his credit? Will they take him to court? Can they garnish his wages?

So I am down 3 grand from my tuition and I cannot afford it. I contacted my school and told them the situation and they told me to jsut not have health insurance for a year. To go online and waive it. But the thing is I get kidney stones and they always do stone blasting once a year and without insurance most places wont do that. Where I go to school though there is places like Mass General and BU Medical Center for like poor people. But in your opinion should I waive the insurance? I mean it’s only one year without it. But what happens should I need to go to the ER? What is your opinion, because I want to go to school more than living life itself. I am first generation.

I always see commercials and advertisements for life insurance, and from what I understand, life insurance is a service that covers you and your family if you die or lose your job or get sick. From what I understand, you pay a little bit like every month or whatever, which the life insurance people keep to cover you and your family.
In the newspaper I saw an ad that said “30,000 dollars for 10 bucks a month.” If someone is 45 years old then they would be 80 in 35 years. So between that time if they pay 10 dollars a month, they would have paid 4200 dollars in those 35 years. 4200 dollars is not 30 thousand dollars. How on earth do the life insurance companies find the money to pay your family if you die? I know how health insurance works, and they make money the same way it’s just that people just don’t get sick a lot. But it’s definite that you are going to die, so I’m clueless.

I know this is personal and you don’t have to answer if you don’t want to. I have the basic life insurance through my employer. I think it’s only $5000-$10000 which is barely anything.

Which company do you have life insurance through?

If you don’t mind me asking how insurance coverage do you have? Do you pay a lot for it each month?

Is there a place on there to leave your children as a beneficiary if something happens to both you and your spouse? I get so afraid of something happening to us and Colten having nothing except our debt.
Nina: I got a flyer in the mail and there an ad as my dog’s vet. I have been looking into that too. Vet bills, especially emergency ones, are so dang expensive!

I am looking to get into the field of insurance sales. I have a sales job now and I like it, but it just doesn’t pull in enough money in the long haul. I work for Sprint selling cell phones. If i made more money I would def keep doing it.

I want to start by getting certified in life and in health. I want to take the exams so when I go apply I have a strong sales background and the certifications to back it up. Only problem is I don’t know where to find the material or even where to go to take the exams even after I learned everything.

I was wondering if anyone knew of a website online where I can order the materials/set up test dates, etc…I googled it, but did find anything solid.

If anyone could steer me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks everyone in advance…

Ten years ago I had a Life and Health agents license in Florida. I am long removed from the insurance business. I now have a company with salesmen around the country. I had a direct deposit for the insurance companies I represented. The customer made out a check to the Insurer, then I deposited it in my personal account and sent them the net after I deducted my commission. Does anyone have the agreement this was based upon or where I can get one ? I wish to do the same for my sales people. THANKS

I am 29 years old and looking for health insurance for me and partner of same age, which include medical as well, hassle free claims in future, and with best offers?

What options exist for someone who works in a strictly CASH business, isn’t married and needs some kind of Health Insurance? The cost would need to under $300.00 a month. Do all these companies ask to you to provide the details of your income? Thanks for any suggestions.
