Hello everyone. I am a housewife, my husband works full-time, and we just learned we are expecting our first child. We are barely making enough money to get by, my husband’s shift changes from week to week, and we only have one car, which makes it difficult for both of us to work. Are there any legitimate work from home jobs that don’t require a start-up fee or the purchase of a kit? I don’t need to make a lot of money, just an extra 100-200 per week. I would greatly appreciate any help.

I would prefer a job that required typing or data entry because I’m pretty fast at typing. Does anyone know any legitimate work from home jobs that I can do?

With so many companies and people out there trying to scam so many people out there (people that are in desperate need of legitimate employment), I was wondering if there any legitimate work at home jobs? I AM NOT looking for any get rich quick schemes. I am looking for real, honest work with real and realistic wages.

Just by doing Google searches, I have read so many horror stories about people getting caught up in a sea of “work at home” scams, however I was wondering if anyone has come across any legitimate work at home jobs . . . i.e. companies or people that do not require you to pay them any money at any time, jobs that are not (MLM) multi level marketing, jobs that do not involve telephone sales or debt collection or cold calls, jobs that pay you decent wages where you can make at least our national’s minimum wage and provides the opportunity to work at least 35 or more hours per week?

Are there any companies out there that offer legitimate work at home jobs (meeting my criteria above) that someone could suggest to me? Or are legitimate work at home jobs just a myth and I am just wasting my time?

I have been unemployed for over a year and I really-really-really need to work very badly. Any help and or recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

I’ve done a lot of searching over a long time and I know that there are plenty of scams out there when it comes to at home assembly jobs. I’ve even tried one from Tiny Details (I think that was the name, can’t quite remember) where you make dollhouse miniatures. It was a lot harder than I thought it would be so I didn’t even finish the kit, so I’m not sure if they would have taken the product I made or not. Nonetheless, I do like the idea of an at-home craft type assembly job cause I can just work on it whenever I want. I was looking at Disciple’s Cross, where you make cross necklaces, but I’m not sure if I really want to give this a try yet. I don’t know if it is hard to do.

So … I would like to know if anyone does this kind of work and what company you do it for. Please, only respond if you really do this kind of work and are making money from it because I want to know what it really is like from an average person (don’t just name a website or post a link to a job you don’t even do yourself). If you make crosses for Disciple’s Cross, how is it really?

I really don’t need any bullshit (sorry to be frank) cause I am a stay at home mom and I really want to help make money for my family and I don’t want to waste any time or money on something that will not earn me anything.

    Thanks!
OMG, already I’m getting the wrong type of answers … did you guys not read my question thoroughly?? NO LINKS to websites that post jobs!! All I’m asking for is an at-home assembly/craft job that you actually do and make money off of…. please.

I don’t want the whole run around where there’s some pretty girl on the front website smiling at me and reassuring me that I don’t have to pay some stupid fee and blah blah (its OBVIOUSLY A SCAM). I DO NOT WANT TO PAY ANYTHING! And if you’re some Ahole sniffing around yahoo answers just wishing for someone to fall into this trap well then just forget about answering this question. I want an honest company with many MANY people to back up what you offer. A legitimate company with honest jobs should come to ME with job offers just BECAUSE there is an overwhelming amount of CON ARTISTS out there willing to sniff any dollar (Nay, any cent) they can from you.

I thank you for your time.

I’ve been looking for a job I can do from home for some time now. Thus far I have been unsuccessful. There seems to be a large number of scams. I don’t want to, nor do I have anything to invest in these ‘business opportunities”, so if there is ANY start up fee I’d rather you just not respond. However, I am a hard worker, willing to dedicate as much time as necessary to any LEGITIMATE position available. I have typing, writing, sales, computer, and customer service skills. I’m also more than willing to be trained for anything. If you are aware of anything please let me know! Thanks!
I’M NOT INVESTING ANYTHING, EVER. NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH. You do not pay money to have a job. I am looking for a REAL JOB, with a REAL COMPANY. Doing REAL WORK. Does this exist?! This is so frustrating!!!!!

I would prefer data entry at home. It would work into my schedule seeing how I am a student. Any job however would help me ou and work.

I am looking for people who are already working from home and can recommend some things for me to look into! I am a full time student and I work overnights 3 days a week. I am very good with the computer.

    Please, no scam postings!

I am unemployed, been unable to find a job, and have no money for anything.

How do you weed out the scams? Testimonials can be scams. How can one be sure of any online jobs?

I am looking for legitimate real to honest work from home businesses. I want the luxury of making my own hours. I am not interested in scams or anything where I have to pay up front. A small fee I can see.

I am not looking for direct sales jobs. I am looking for customer service, data entry, etc. type jobs. Preferably some place that does not require a land line as all I use is my cell phone.
