Alright well, for my entrepreneurship course, I’ve been given an assignment which requires me to create a chart outlining the similarities and differences between an entrepreneur and an enterprising person. I’ve already accumulated characteristics which are similar between the two, and I’ve also already come up with a few differences, but I need a few more.

    Thanks in advance! (:
Just realized I left out a word in the question; I meant *enterprising person.

My uni assessment requires me to do a report on an entrepreneur whether it be social, business or lifestyle entrepreneurship, but they must be in my field on study. I’m majoring psychology and studying sociology on the side, and trying to find a relevant entrepreneur is proving difficult. All I can find is the psychology behind entrepreneurship :/
I was considering Wilhelm Wundt whom some say is the father of psychology but is he an entrepreneur? Can anyone offer any advice please?

    Is Entrepreneur too french sounding?

A self made person who started a business and achieved great success would likely easily beat President Obama, because the voters always blame the President when growth is too slow.

People like Romney are part of the problem. He bought companies, fired people, and did whatever it takes to make money.

Moral entrepreneurs do what it takes to bring morality to places where it hasn’t been before, embrace new responsibilities, making them their own, and persuade their peers to do likewise, expand conscience, the fundamental prerequisite for concern, commitment, and action. The mission of the moral entrepreneur is not to create a new tax-exempt organization. It is to inspire others to engage deeply in community causes and to do so in a way that leverages their unique strengths.

But how does one become an entrepreneur? I don’t understand how to intelligently become one.

I’m only in high school, but I don’t know what options/ routes I should take to become an entrepreneur. I have so many great ideas and strategies on being an entrepreneur and I’m willing to accept failure and such it’s just I don’t know:

How long should I be in school for?

How to start being an entrepreneur?

Go big and launch a venture, or be patient?

I’m in high school and I just don’t know how to approach this.

Can anybody give me some advice? preferably anyone in the business industry, entrepreneurs, etc.

    Thank you!

Okay, I just made a post about earning money..
And, I’m curious as to what you mommys have done to enterprise your own entrepreneurship. (or heard of) I wish I could think of something I truly enjoy, something I could turn into something bigger. I just can’t think of anything. But I would like to hear about some. πŸ™‚
I would like to become an entrepreneur, if I could find something worth it, that I could dedicate to.
Or any other way to earn money would be great! I don’t want to sell Avon or anything local like that. I know too many people who sell it, which means, I would have trouble selling it.
We have 5 children, and are living off of my husbands income. We did great before, when I was working. He’d work days, and I would work nights. The only bad thing is that he would stay up until 2am or so to be with me.. And get up at 6… I quit due to a high risk pregnancy, and we are happier with me at home. So until the children are in school, I would like to find something to earn extra money for bills, etc.
    this isn’t directed to mommy’s lol. πŸ™‚
