Comparing Mandatory Auto Insurance and Mandatory Heath Care Insurance isn’t a balanced argument as you have the right to not drive a vehicle.

I know there are many different sites where I can compare auto insurance quotes. I am wondering if there are any sites that have local agents available on them? My local agent just retired and I am looking around for new coverage, I just don’t want to call everyone in the phone book you know.

First, auto insurance is different state by state. Second, driving is a privilege that you have a license for and do on public roads where you can injure other people.

For the record, I do think auto insurance SHOULD be required.

I am talking about healthcare Liberals try to compare it to auto insurance but you have an option to not drive. There is no option with healthcare. They say that Obamacare isn’t socialist how is it not?

I am comparing prices for car insurance. I have had State Farm forever. After talking to them and asking them what I should look for when shopping for car insurance is a policy that wont cancel you or raise rates if you have an accident. We have made claims in the past (storm damage and I hit a tree stump – no actual vehicle to vehicle accidents) and our rates have not gone up. Do other companies do the same? What about Traveler’s Auto Insurance?

The argument for the auto is that it is a luxury and one doesn’t have to drive if they choose not. What can be said about health insurance? Is it now a luxury to breath? Exist? Take up space?

No matter how they sell it it is a tax. I don’t pay now but soon will be forced to. Period

Hi everyone. I am shopping for car insurance and want to know the best but most affordable out there. My mother thought to put me on her policy with Progressive and I would pay her for the insurance, but they were going to charge her over $500.00 to do so. My friend has gotten into two accidents and hasn’t had to pay nearly that much , and neither did her dad when he put her on his policy.

What is a good website to use when researching auto insurance. One where I can get numerous rates from various insurers and compare them with each other?

I have been with the same auto insurance agency my whole adult life. When my husband and I got married, he switched over and started using the same agency I have always used. Our insurance rates seem to continually increase, though, and so recently I have been wondering if we should start looking around for a better premium. I would definitely love to save some money on our auto insurance, but I don’t know if it’s worth the time and energy it would take to shop around. Is it worth the effort to compare insurance companies? If so, how do I begin my search?
